If you have ever looked for some of the best PS4 games, you might find that your console has some games geoblocked, meaning they can only be accessed in certain territories. If you are in America, then you might be missing out on the best UK games and vice versa. One way of getting around that is with a VPN.
By covering up your IP address with a VPN, then gaming sites won’t be able to trace where you are downloading your games from. This means you can have access to some of the best games way before your friends across the pond.
This is also a great way of downloading indie games without malware being able to track you. Sadly, one of the downsides of buying indie games is that they can be prone to malware and adware that could be very harmful to your system.
You’ll also want a VPN that does not affect the speed of your games. Very often your VPN software can be running at too high a spec and can cause your PC to start to lag and stutter. You might also quickly exceed the data limits of a lot of the free VPNs. This is where paying for a small subscription fee might be preferable.
So what exactly are the best VPNs for your PS4? How much can you be looking to pay for a decent VPN? What features do the paid subscriptions have over the free ones? How easy is it to use a VPN? Should you use a VPN for your style of gaming?
If you want the answers to all of these questions and more, then we would suggest that you read on. We’ve compiled a list of the top 10 VPNs currently on the market for the PS4. We’ll also list some pros and a few cons of each software, so that you can decide what the best VPN package is for you.
